About IS

International Services is responsible for immigration, programming and adjustment-related issues of approximately 650 students from over 90 different countries at Texas Christian University. The Office is part of Culture, Community and International Services within the Division of Student Affairs. The office staff actively participates in NAFSA (Association of International Educators)
Immigration

The Office is responsible for informing students about immigration matters and handling related paperwork regarding:

  • Employment and Practical Training Information
  • Long-Range Academic Immigration Advising 
  • Translate Immigration Regulations for the University Community
  • Manage Compliance with the ICE, DHS and other Government Bodies
Orientation

The Office assists students with issues relating to:

  • Orientation information upon arrival to TCU
  • Cross Cultural Adjustment
  • Culture of U.S. Academics
  • Organizational and Community Engagement 
Collaborative & Programming

To accomplish its goals, the Office works with:
